NTP-Stag Canada and RVDA of Canada announced the ten recipients of the annual NTP-Stag Canada RV Technician Bursary scholarships this week.
Ten RV technicians across Canada who have enrolled in some form of RV apprenticeship training will receive scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 for their training this year. The annual awards program is sponsored by NTP-Stag Canada and the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Canada.
RVDA of Canada President Eleonore Hamm said the program has been around for more than five years as a way to give back to the RV technician community across the country.
It just shows the commitment to ensure that we have trained staff that can work on those RVs.
Elenore Ham, RVDA of Canada President
RVDA of Canada is awarding twenty-three bursaries valued at $500 and one bursary valued at $1,000 to eligible RV technicians in all Canadian provinces who have enrolled in RV apprenticeship or related education programs.
Hamm said the NTP-Stag Canada and RVDA of Canada bursary awards can go a long way in a year like this, when people in the industry may be using time away from work to further train themselves in RV skillsets.
Bursaries are awarded to students with serious interest and desire to succeed in the RV industry as demonstrated by successful program completion with higher than average grades.
